Where to go for help

CAC-LMJC serves the Lookout Mountain Judicial District, which includes Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties in Georgia.

While we do help children and families, we are brought into cases by DFCS and law enforcement agencies. That means if you’re looking for help for you or a child, your first call would be to DFCS (or to 911 if you or the child are in immediate danger.)

What to do if you suspect child abuse?

Contact DFCS Protective Services

Child abuse and/or neglect reports are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Child Protective Services staff investigate reports of child abuse and/or neglect in an effort to provide services to protect the child and strengthen the family.

If the child is in immediate danger, call 911.
